CENTRAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST (FT or PT available)

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

      • Inventory control to include establishing par levels and ordering of all clinical supplies
      • Price negotiation of all clinical supplies
      • Maintenance and organization of stock in mud rooms, procedure rooms and satellite offices
      • Ensure and secure stock needs at all satellite locations, deliver stock if necessary
      • Maintain supply of speculums and instruments; assist clinical staff with cleaning and processing of dirty instruments
      • Maintain cleanliness of autoclaves; run weekly testing
      • Assist clinical floor staff with miscellaneous tasks ie., Straighen restrooms/empty trash between morning and afternoon sessions, assist with stocking exam rooms if needed etc.

Qualifications/skills include but not limited to:

      • High school or GED required
      • Previous experience as a central supply technician or medical assistant preferred
      • Minimum of six (6) months in a medical practice setting preferred
      • OB/GYN experience or knowledge preferred but not required
      • Working knowledge of procedure instruments, sterile fields preferred
      • Proficient multi-tasking and organizational skills in a fast-paced office environment
      • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
      • Proficient PC skills
      • Current/valid Driver’s license and insurance with no moving violations within the past six (6) months.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday. Exact schedule to be determined and will be based on the needs of the practice

 

FT PHONE SCHEDULER

Work Schedule: 40 hrs/week; Monday-Friday. Exact schedule to be determined and will be based on the needs of the practice.

Qualifications & skills include but not limited to:

      • High school or GED required
      • Minimum of one (1) year in a medical practice or hospital setting
      • Excellent communication & telephone skills
      • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills in a fast-paced office environment
      • Proficient PC skills
      • OB/GYN experience preferred, not required
      • Bilingual preferred

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

      • Answering phone calls and schedule appointments
      • Handle customer service inquiries
      • Updating patient account information
      • Assist with the scheduling from Patient POP system
      • Check voicemail system and handle callbacks
      • Review the waitlist and contact patients to schedule
      • Review and follow up on no shows
      • May assist with patient portal and referrals
      • May conduct patient pre-certification to ensure coverage for appointments and medical care

 

Evening Triage Nurse (PT- Approx. 15 hrs. week)

Qualifications & skills include but not limited to:

      • Minimum of two years of experience in a related position with preferred emphasis in OB-GYN nursing.
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
      • Proficient multi-tasking skills
      • Proficient computer skills a must
      • Current RN or LPN license
      • OB/GYN experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

      • Accept and return telephone calls from patients, make thorough assessment of patient's problems, consult with providers and make appropriate decisions regarding patient situations and convey appropriate course of action based on protocols and consultation with provider. ie. office visit or evaluation at the hospital
      • Provide patient care in office as needed based on assessment and course of action
      • Orders labs, tests and medications, per protocol and/or provider direction. Schedule appropriate follow-up.
      • Ability to perform catheter insertion and removal, patient education, administering IV hydration/medications and perform NST's
      • Communicate clearly with patients and at a level of understanding; communication may come in various forms to include telephone, email patient portal etc.

This part-time position is approx. 10-15 hrs/week.

Hours would be approx. 4:30pm-9:30pm but are based on the needs of the practice.Flexibility is needed with the other triage nurse to cover/switch other evenings if needed.

CERTIFIED NURSE MIDWIFE

May-Grant OB/GYN, has an opportunity for a CNM to join our well-established, fast-paced, diversified, private OB/GYN practice.

We have a high performing, experienced team of 15 physicians, 11 CNMs and 6 CRNPs; and perform over 2400 deliveries per year with most vaginal births attended by CNMs.

The needs of our diverse client population are met by six satellite offices with in-house lab and ultrasound services; and, adjacent to our main office, a free-standing women’s hospital that includes ambulatory services, in-patient and out-patient services, level III NICU, 24-hour anesthesia and maternal fetal medicine department. (The community offers affordable housing, excellent schools and easy access to Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, DC and New York City.)

We are looking for a CNM that possesses the desire to provide the highest quality care, and support and nurture the health and well-being of every woman throughout all aspects of their life.

This position is a full-time position. Work schedule includes 1st call, 2nd call and office hours that includes some rotating evenings, Saturday mornings and is based upon the needs of the practice.

 

LPNs or MEDICAL ASSISTANTs (FT or PT)

Qualifications include, but not limited to:

Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience in a medical or professional office setting

      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
      • Proficient multi-tasking skills
      • Proficient computer skills a must
      • Current Certifications preferred
      • OB/GYN experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

      • Obtaining vitals
      • Rooming patients
      • Assisting Providers with appointments and/or procedures
      • Drawing labs and/or injections
      • Documentation within Electronic Medical Records system
      • Full-time or Part-time positions are available at our MGA location.

Work Schedule: Offering a flexible schedule based on your availability to work early mornings or afternoons, evenings, and rotating Saturday mornings. This position may require the ability to travel to our different satellite locations as well. All work schedules are based on the needs of the practice but can still offer some flexibility. 

DESK SPECIALIST (FT or PT)

Qualifications include, but not limited to:

      • Minimum of six (6) months experience in a medical or professional office setting
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
      • Proficient PC skills
      • Demonstrated communication skills (written and verbal)
      • Good customer service skills
      • Bilingual is a plus

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

      • Checking in and out patients
      • Insurance verification's
      • Scheduling appointments
      • Answering phones

LABORATORY SUPERVISOR

Join the May-Grant team! We currently have an employment opportunity for a Full-time Lab Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day overall operation, leadership, direction, and administrative duties of our Level III Clinical Laboratory.

Qualifications include, but not limited to:

      • MT, BS, ASCP or equivalent
      • Minimum 5 years of supervisor/management experience Proficiency in State and Federal requirements for PA Laboratory
      • Generalist, well versed in all areas of Clinical Laboratory, Hematology, Chemistry, Serology, Microbiology, Phlebotomy and Injections
      • Proficient interpersonal and communication skills
      • Strong analytical and financial skills for cost analysis
      • Proficient computer skills

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

      • Maintain all PPM testing and proficiency testing within the Laboratory. Responsible for all licenses and permits associated with the practice, including all satellite offices. Correct all deficiencies noted in a timely manner.
      • Maintain all Laboratory equipment to provide quality patient testing. Responsibilities to include QC/QA, Calibrations and implementation of all new instrumentation.
      • Knowledgeable of and in compliance with administrative, medical and lab policies and procedures including State and Federal Requirements. Liaison between Laboratory Director and Clinical Staff.
      • Familiar with LIS Systems, Lab resulting, storage and documentation
      • Maintain communication with all vendors, reimbursements and contracts associated within the laboratory.

Work Schedule: FT 40 hrs/week, primarily Monday through Friday. Flexibility is needed periodically based on the needs of the department and practice.

 

MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST (PT or FT)

Immediate opening for a full-time or part-time Medical Technologist for our busy Women’s Health Level III Lab.  Selected candidates will need to possess the following qualifications/skills: 

      • MT, ASCP or equivalent 
      • Generalist  
      • Phlebotomy and injections skills a must 
      • Proficient PC skills 
        Exact schedule to be determined but will primarily be afternoons and evenings with the flexibility to possibly include some mornings.  All schedules are based on the needs of the practice.

CERTIFIED NURSE PRACTITIONER

May-Grant OB/GYN, has an opportunity for a CRNP to join our well-established, fast-paced, diversified, multi-office, private OB/GYN practice. Our high performing, experienced team consists of 15 physicians and 17 mid-level providers. Our Practice contains an in-house lab and ultrasound services as well.

This position offers a combination of gynecological care and obstetrics with a focus on patient centered care, including annual well woman exams, birth control, family planning, prenatal and postnatal care, care during peri and post menopause, management of sexually transmitted infections, and education about all aspects of women's health.

Candidates should have knowledge of physical assessment, ambulatory procedures, and ability to interpret lab tests. Patience, strong ethics, excellent communication skills and the ability to work with other healthcare professionals and independently.

Proven experience in women’s health, some obstetrics and ability to perform procedures is preferable. Valid nurse practitioner license is required. New graduate candidates with strong backgrounds will also be considered.

Work schedule will be Monday-Friday, with an evenings and Saturday morning rotation, and is based on the needs of the practice.
