Determining if you should have a routine screening mammogram is actually pretty easy. Are you a woman? Are you 40+ years old? Then, the answer is YES! You should have a yearly mammogram.
Getting a screening mammogram EVERY YEAR is one of the most important things women over age 40 can do for their health. Serial screening mammograms (not skipping a year) have been shown to reduce death by Breast Cancer by 50%.

We are moving to a two-team approach, with two weeks on and two weeks off for our staff and providers with patient contact. This will help ensure that we are symptom-free while allowing us to continue to serve those who must be seen in the office.

Many of the female providers of May-Grant Obstetrics and Gynecology gathered to celebrate Dr. Kathleen Gerbert, who was the first female physician to join the practice in 1988!
#BlueJeansFriday Staff and providers at the office of May-Grant Obstetrics and Gynecology can wear blue jeans in an effort to raise money for charities or local communities.
The staff of May-Grant Obstetrics and Gynecology including Ultrasound, Lab, Medical Records, Floor Staff, Desk Staff and Nursing Care Coordinators met together on May 23rd for a team building exercise.
Since 1996, The Ronald McDonald House in Hershey has collected aluminum can tabs to recycle. This effort raises funds to support the Ronald McDonald House of Hershey and creates greater public awareness of our mission.
Every other month, the staff at May-Grant chooses a worthy charity. Then, each staff member who wishes to participate will donate money to that charity and wear jeans for the day.
On Friday, April 13, we were proud to donate to the 42nd Annual Benefit Auction to support education and provide scholarships for the New Danville Campus of Lancaster Mennonite School.
May-Grant is a proud sponsor of the 2nd annual McCaskey Tornado 5K Color Run being held on Saturday March 24th at 11:00 am at McCaskey High School Campus.
May-Grant is pleased to support this ongoing drive for bras and menstrual hygiene products for women and girls in Lancaster County experiencing homelessness.
On Halloween, the staff of May Grant Obstetrics and Gynecology got dressed up and held a fundraiser potluck lunch. Everyone who wished to participate brought a dish and the staff donated money to eat all the yummy Halloween-themed food and treats.
