Dexa Department:
If your physician orders a dexa scan our certified technician will perform the test, which will be read by one of our physicians specially trained in dexa interpretation. Recommendations for your continued healthcare will be individualized to your specific needs.

HOSPITAL EDUCATION SPECIALISTS:
Facing surgery can be scary, but at May•Grant our hospital education registered nurses staff will work in preparing you for your surgery from beginning to end. They will give you the instructions you need prior to surgery and then visit you in the hospital with specific instructions for home. They are also available to answer any questions you or a family member may have.

LAB RESULTS DEPARTMENT:
When results of a lab test ordered by our providers are returned, they are reviewed by a group of professional nurses. The nurses notify providers of test results and enter all normal results into the May•Grant "Lab Tree" system, making them available to you via phone. If a provider has a concern or specific instruction for you they may communicate with you either themselves or have one of our nurses talk with you.

LABORATORY SERVICES:
We offer some lab tests on site. This makes it more convenient for you, and results are often available immediately––helping to provide you with quality care.
With in our laboratory we also offer heel scans. If your provider orders this test it can be done in house by our certified technicians.

MEDICAL RECORDS:
Assuring that your medical record is maintained in a secure, quality manner is the main goal of our medical records department. They are available to help in filling out medical forms or in obtaining your records from another practice.

SURGERY SCHEDULING:
When surgery is recommended, this group of dedicated staff will help you schedule your surgery. They will work to accommodate your schedule and the physician of your choice. They will coordinate any lab testing, referrals, or physician clearances as needed.

Telephone/Appointment Scheduling:
Our friendly staff of telephone operators are available Monday-Thursday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, to help you schedule an appointment with one of our providers. We offer appointment hours for your convenience from 6:30 am until 4:30 pm Monday–Friday and some appointment hours on Monday and Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings.

TRANSCRIPTION SERVICES:
Our in-house transcription department provides for your medical confidentiality. All provider visits are transcribed and available in your chart soon after your visit, helping to provide for your continuity of care.

TRIAGE DEPARTMENT:
One of the busiest departments is our triage department, a group of specially trained nurses who are available to talk with you regarding your medical questions. They will listen, consult our providers, and offer professional advice as appropriate. They are available Monday–Thursday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm and Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.

ULTRASOUND DEPARTMENT:
Professional ultrasound staff are available in-house. They provide quality ultrasounds which help you and your provider make medical decisions that are best for you based on the results.

DESK STAFF:
Whether checking in before your appointment or checking out after your appointment, these staff members want your visit to go smoothly. Our front desk staff will check you in, obtaining your health insurance information and updating any personal information. Our check-out staff will schedule any test ordered, make any future appointments, and collect any co-pay that may be due.
